Paty Kandiah
Creative Producer · Technical Director · Lighting & Vision Designer
Paty Kandiah has worked internationally in creative and technical production since the mid-2000s, moving between theatre, contemporary dance, music, touring and site-specific performance.
Her work as a lighting and vision designer sits alongside technical production and direction — building the systems and teams that allow ambitious creative ideas to reach the stage. Recent roles include creative production and technical production management with Silver Palm Studios in the Cayman Islands, alongside two decades of freelance touring, lighting and conceptual design work for theatre, circus and contemporary dance.
Her project experience spans the UK, Spain, Belgium, Austria, Germany, Norway, China, South Korea, the Cayman Islands and Australia, with collaborations connected to artists and companies including Iggy Pop, Elaine Mitchener, Dam Van Huynh, Sung Im Her, Joseph Toonga, Katy Baird and Paula Paz.
Selected experience includes work connected with the Barbican Centre, Southbank Centre, Wigmore Hall, Garrick Theatre, Glastonbury Festival, Museo del Prado and Museo Reina Sofía.
